On the 12th, 13th, 14th, and 16th of December 2018, SLADEA organized a mobile cinema tour to Kenema, Bo, Moyamba and Makeni respectively to screen six short films of which three are documentary (Up in Alms, This Ability and Accra Flowers) and the other three are fictional films (Tribal Zone, Carrying Dreams and Xoese) from the All on Board film project.

The main purpose of the screening is to create awareness among community people on the issue of discrimination and how we as a nation can bridge that gap of discrimination against certain sect of people, groups or individuals.

One of the most talked about films is ‘’Tribal Zone’’, in which hatredness is portrayed from the Ashanti tribe to the Ewe tribe. The film sparked a lot of debate because similar things happen in Sierra Leone.  People were highly impressed by the movies as they commented that it was very educative and timely.

In each district where the films were introduced, copies of the DVD film and questionnaires were given out to participants who viewed the movie.

This movie was produced by in collaboration with XCHANGE PERSPECTIVES in Germany, SLADEA in Sierra Leone, NAEAL from Liberia and YMCA in Ghana.

The film project was funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and Bread for the World (BftW) in Germany.
