SLADEA HOLDS IT ORIENTATION MEETING FOR ELECTED MEMBERS AND FUNCTIONARIES

The Sierra Leone Adult Education Association (SLADEA) start a two day orientation meeting for its newly elected members and functionaries at the S.L.O.I.C hall in Bo city on Thursday 16th July and Friday 17th July 2020. These National Executive (NEC) Members will be serving a three-year term in spearheading the activities of the association in accordance of the constitution of SLADEA.
This orientation meeting which was supposed to have happened early this year was put on hold due to the corona virus pandemic restrictions including inter-districts lockdown.
Day one of the orientation meeting will have presentations on Criteria for quality membership, SLADEA constitution, code of conduct, benevolent fund, introduction to conference call/Zoom meetings and also for the newly elected members and functionaries will know all our partners, Civil Peace Service (CPS), Non-Formal Education Directorate, Department of Extra Mural Studies, FBC (DEMS), Partners Women’s Commission (PWC), Peoples Educational Association of Sierra Leone (PEA-SL) and Filling of Vacant Positions.
Day two, the newly elected members will be taken through how to use their working documents, i.e. Use of F.S.1 forms, Use of request forms, Half year reporting forms, payment vouchers monthly reporting forms, etc. The newly elected functionaries will be enlightened on the On-going projects of SLADEA that is Update on Afforestation Activities, The Film Project, The Pottery and Ceramic Works Project, Small Project Fund and presentation from SLADEA auditors.
